Nick Fest
2021 / Nickelodeon

Art Direction / Illustration / Event Design / Creative Direction

Overview

Nickelodeon brought me in to course-correct the visual identity for NickFest, their flagship family music festival, after early creative exploration drifted off-brand. Working closely with internal teams and the lead agency, I refined the direction by re-establishing Nickelodeon’s core design principles—bold color, expressive character, playful energy—and translating them into a festival-ready system that felt both elevated and unmistakably “Nick.” Using a mix of existing assets and new creative development, I rebuilt a cohesive look and feel that could flex across digital, on-site, and promotional channels, ensuring every touchpoint delivered the same vibrant, kid-forward experience.

Results

The refined visual system aligned all partners around a unified creative direction and helped bring consistency to every channel, from social campaigns and OOH placements to stage screens and on-site signage. By grounding the festival’s identity in Nickelodeon’s established brand language, we restored brand fidelity, streamlined production across teams, and delivered a polished expression that supported the festival’s marketing, partnerships, and event-day experience.
